wow your right, having enough national guard personnel and equipment to be able to respond to every part of the country in minutes is absolutely believable. why don't you and me join and then we only have to recruit about 20 million more people to cover every single town in a country with 300 million people.

when those 2 peeps robbed that bank in L.A. with ak-47 ap rounds and kevlar the cops couldn't put him down for a while. Granby has 1500 people L.A. has millions so if L.A. couldn't afford AP rounds how could this tiny town even afford to employ 100 cops?

So is that how "well protected" we are by the government ??? I mean if that guy tryed to get near the white house then they'd have apaches, national guard etc... everything to take him out quickly. Now when it's only ordinary folks in a small town they don't seem to care much. For them you only are and only worth the taxes you pay, very "patriotic".
