not sure where that info is coming from. Robbie is Canadian... born and raised in Toronto... have never heard or read anything about New Orleans

Robbie was half Canadian and half American. He lived in New Orleans during part of his childhood. He references Louisiana often in his writing.

"The Band" still great after all these years! 4 Canadians & 1 American; first backed Ronnie Hawkins in To. Canada in the 60's. Robertson & Hawkins played with Bob Dylan; then the whole band. Debuted first LP in 1968. Writing credits: Robertson did do most of the writing and gets the royalties even if, as with most bands there was collaboration during recording. Check the albums/cd's/ for the credit; agreed to until money stopped coming in. That's when the "problems" came up.

How was that COCKSUCKER able to own ALL OF THE RIGHTS TO THE BANDS Music. No one else deserves shit. Is that how it is? Levon must have put in at least a word or two ??? Fucking Queers are a sneaky lot aren't they? As Lennon sang about McCartney, How do You Sleep at Night?
